This year the Easter weekend will be in North Wales staying at the Conwy YHA, Larkhill, Sychnant Rd, nwy, LL32 8AJ, Fri 6th Apri to Mon 9th April. The plan so far is FRIDAY: An afteroon/ eveing wak around the walls of Conwy. SATURDAY -Tal y Fan from Conwy. About 12 miles. SUNDAY A costal walk from Llanfairfechan to Bangor, returning via the North Wales Path. About 12 miles MONDAY - LLandudno and a walk around the Great Orme Cost is £18.50 per night and £4.95 per day for breakfast if wanted. **I'll need confirmation of attendance and payment (cheque) by 20 Feb at the latest, thanks**

PATTERDALE IN THE LAKES

A long weekend in the Lakes, based at the Patterdale Youth Hostel, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 0NW, Fri 4th May - Mon 7th May. FRIDAY: A 3 mile walk from the hostel up to Arnison Crag. SATURDAY: The Big One, Helvellyn! Starting at the hostel we will take the route up to the summit which includes a traverse of Striding Edge, 8 miles, 900 metres of ascent, around 6 hours duration. SUNDAY: Starting from the hostel we will walk the bumpy ridge on the south eastern edge of Ullswater, between Place Fell and Sleet Fell, 9 miles, 800 metres ascent, 6 hours duration. Alternatively, a valley walk from the hostel to Brothers Water and back, approx 7 miles, 4 hours. MONDAY: Ambleside or Keswick for sightseeing etc. ***NOW FULLY BOOKED***
