Sunday 19th December, 2004   CHRISTMAS MEAL AND OBLIGATORY PRE-GRUB WALK   5 miles  2 hrs  Easy
Start Time: 11:00 am    Grid Ref: SJ951583. Follow A53 out from Stoke towards Leek. Approximately two miles out from Endon, hang a left, signposted towards Rudyard (it is a very narrow lane and difficult for two cars to pass so keep your foot off the gas). Upon reaching Rudyard village, go over the mini-roundabout and follow straight on, bearing right after about 100 yards into the Rudyard hotel car park.
Another chance to stuff yourself silly whilst someone else waits on you hand and foot and caters to your every whim. The Rudyard Hotel has a good reputation for haute cuisine and a sumptuous repast is once again expected. Prices will be approximately £15/head. Menus will be available nearer the event. Please confirm your attendance by 31st October. (You will, of course, want to justify the gluttony by going on the pre-ramble of about 5 miles (really, this time) which will meander its way around the lake. )
